Lead Pastor Jan L. Mehlhoff began her call at Lutheran Church of Peace September 1, 2009. She is a graduate of University of Minnesota, University of Missouri and Luther Seminary. Pastor Jan was a veterinarian in Forest Lake before attending seminary. She has served Hosanna Lutheran Church in Forest Lake, MN; House of Prayer in Oakdale; Holy Cross in Oakdale and recently moved from Hope Lutheran Church in Moose Lake, MN. Empowering the ministry of the congregation, biblical studies and meaningful worship are her passions. Pastor Jan is a widow with two stepsons and their families (which include 4 grandchildren) being the center of her life. She resides with two cats Sero and Tonin.

 

 

Associate Pastor Tim Hackbarth is responsible for pastoral duties and specifically focuses on the Christian Education program. Pastor Tim is a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and of Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Before being called to LCP in December of 2006, he was Pastor at Providence Valley Lutheran Church in Dawson, Minnesota. Pastor Tim brings education, experience and passion to the position. Additionally, he has a “Youth and Family Certification” from Youth Leadership. Pastor Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, their son, Ryan, and their dog, Gracie.
